  A mythic & historic name, first in Catania to have international, actually, more Asian foods, in an alley facing the "Fiera", the city market of bygone times, also when immigrants, specially from India Sri Lanka or Thai, were few. I would give 5 stars if only they didn't try to go, anachronistically, "Big Business", that, to keep it up with the "new" situation, where immigrants self started shops & restos. Cristaldi has to keep it up against the "Bangla" true shops and prices are super high!! Skyrocketing...

  not realy a supermarket but they sell a lot of tasty products

  Good choice of Asian options, bio, gluten -free, vegan etc. I go there for cereals and teas. There aren't many places like it in the city, so they make it a bit pricey.

  Very good option for buying food items from India and China. Soy sauce and pickles are well priced. Some items can be purchased for much less elsewhere if you know the right shops but overall very good one stop shop for all your International food ingredients.
