::Il Palazzo del Quirinale è un palazzo storico di Roma. Sorge sull'omonimo colle e si affaccia sull'omonima piazza. Dal 1870 è la residenza ufficiale del Re d'Italia e dal 1946 del Presidente della Repubblica Italiana. È uno dei simboli dello Stato italiano. Il Palazzo del Quirinale è unico al mondo perché è associato al concetto latino di Auctoritas: nessun altro palazzo al mondo ha questo spessore cronologico.[1][2]
