  Stronzo at the register doesn’t like visitors shopping here. The guy at the checkout grabbed our stuff and very aggressively dumped it out and broke a jar of olives. He was upset that we had set our basket on the conveyor belt at the register. No offense was intended by me, if that was a mistake putting the basket there. Seriously, breaking jars and acting so rude.

  THIEVES - Watch your money when you hand it over ! Gave the tiller €50 note (That my wife saw me do ) for the purchases and he gave me change for a €10 note. I told him it was wrong and he believed that he was correct. I asked for him to check his till and to review cctv. He and his colleagues said that was not possible until the following morning when it would best then for us to come back and they would be there to meet us. Needless to say that a new shift of staff were in and we were told that the tiller was correct and that we could not see cctv to prove it nor the taking receipt for the previous night. Like l said Thieves !

  This small supermarket has an excellent deli counter with salame and cheese from across Italy, and many organic and gluten-free products too!

  I am so endebted to the staff at this shop. I lost my wallet yesterday and was in a panic as I was returning home to UK today..! on retracing my steps this morning I found that I had left my wallet in the store. It was returned intact and I can not say how happy I am. During my shopping trip the staff were polite, efficient and welcoming... But if you add to that the qualities of honesty and integrity then you have got superb staff.... Thanks again and I shall return to Venice again and shop in your store
