My wife, my cousin and his wife, and myself booked a private tour of Montepulciano and Montalcino in March, 2018. It was fantastic! Our tour guide, Emilia, was very knowledgeable as well as quite personable. The vehicle, a newer Mercedes mini-van, was clean and the driver was very capable. The office staff of Bellaltalia Tours was also very helpful, very friendly and very quick to respond to our questions and requests throughout our entire planning process for the trip. They were also flexible to incorporate some special requests that we had made. Our hotel was in Montecatini and we had asked if we could be picked-up there. For a slight upcharge (70 Euros) Bellaltalia picked us up at our hotel. The added cost for this pick-up was well worth the cost when you consider the cost (round trip tickets) and time involved to take the train to/from Florence to take one of the tours that originates in Florence. We also asked if a stop at the Florence American Cemetery and Memorial could be added to our trip. My wife and I had been there in 2014 on an earlier trip to Tuscany and wanted my cousin and his wife to experience this beautiful memorial. Again, there was a slight upcharge (70 Euros), but Bellaltalia had no reservations accommodating our special request. The walking tours of the Montepulciano and Montalcino with our tour guide Emilia was very complete and very informative. We had tours, as well as wine tasting, in 2 different wineries - Cantina Ercolani, which is located in Montepilciano, and Fattoria dei Barbi, which is a few miles outside of Montalcino. Our travels thru the Tuscany countryside was picture postcard perfect, even if it was early March and the spring greenery had not yet bloomed. Should we ever be in the Tuscany region again (and I hope we are!) we will, without hesitation, consider using Bellaltalia Tours again.

My husband and I booked a BellaItalia day tour exploring Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti area. We highly recommend this tour for an authentic taste of this amazing region. We were picked up from our designated area on time by our tour guide Emilia. Our vehicle was clean and comfortable. Emilia was a font of information about the region we travelled through. She was a friendly and accomodating guide and made our day a delight. We enjoyed our time at San Gimignano and Siena. Our highlight was a stop at Fattoria Poggia Allora where we got to taste local wines and produce. Many thanks to Emilia and the team at BellaItalia. We would definitely book another BellaItalia tour on our next trip to Italy. Ciao Caterina and Evo

My friend and I took the tour to Siena & San Gimignano in June. It was absolutely wonderful! Our guide, Luca, was so friendly and he knew everything about the region. You got just enough time in each city to see the highlights and do a little shopping, but the stop at the winery was the best! Such a beautiful setting with lots of snacks and good wine and time to just sit and enjoy, a real Tuscan treat! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Although the water was too choppy to take the ferry, which would have been beautiful, we moved from town to town on the train. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We had sufficient time in each village to enjoy it. The scenery is so gorgeous.

Our private tour was on the first stop of a 10 day cruise. It was hands down the best tour! Michael was very knowledgeable of Tuscany and the 2 wineries we visited were fantastic. Greve was OK. Our favorite winery was a small family operation and after the private tour, the wife of the owner served us a delicious 3 course lunch outside under huge shade trees overlooking the countryside. The best day!!!
