Chiesa di San Sepolcro is located in the piazza with the same name and what I found interesting was that there was quite some movement in front of it, as opposed to other churches in Cagliari that seemed to be so quiet. Groups of youngsters or older people seemed to pop in and out of the church as if it was the centre of some activities. Inside, the church had three 'plans' of interest and 3 altars, so it was easy to relax for 10 minutes and pray that no one is going to disturb me. No fee being charged at the entrance, but again with the exception of the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, no one else charges anything in Cagliari. Visit away!

Although church existed already in XI century, nothing original left inside. Admission is free but any donation is welcomed and highly appreciated. Under the church is the crypt where you are going to find the copy of Jesus Sepulcher as it was imagined by Milanese masters of XIV century. To visit the crypt you have to buy a ticket.

There is a discrepancy in the working time on the website, and the one at the front door. So we wasted our time taking a detour to visit the crypt at 5:30pm on the first evening. The following day (monday), as we arrived at 7pm, we were told that the crypt is closed for the day, and that we should instead come the next day. That's the day of the departure, so we won't be visiting the place. And to think MilanoCard was "kind" enough to give us a "special" free visit to an unavailable museum.
