  This review may be biased as my father is Milanese however; I believe I can be impartial. The Duomo is a looking glass into the past. Taking centuries to build, standing in the piazza it dominates everything nearby showing off it's colossal structure and dwarfing most churches that I can think of. The journey to the top where we got to take photos and walk along the roof is definitely something I would recommend and as it was my partner's first time she thoroughly enjoyed it too. Nearby are many restaurants as well as La Galleria which is famous in its own right with many high street brands such as Versacce, D&G and Chanel.

  A great historical place to visit in Milan. I would recommend to buy tickets online for this if you are planning to visit this. Metro has good connectivity to this place if you are planning to come by public transport. Also there are many world famous branded shops around this area. So, definitely a nice place for shopping as well. But keep in mind, since its branded shops, its very costly as well :).

  Beautiful... I was amazed it was absolutely beautiful the work that has gone into it is amazing. We did the Duomo, museum and terrace in one package all brilliant and I would definitely recommend you visit this if your in Milano. The queue to the Duomo moved very quick they do a bag search and a quick body scan on entry. Museum is not that big but worth visiting. The terraces... the queue for this also move quite quick. we took the lift option, it only lets 8/10 people in at one time so you do have to be patient. Once your up there the views are amazing. Some steps to get you right to the top, and in places it’s single file walk ways. Well worth visiting.

  Absolutely amazing cathedral in the heart of Milan. An absolute must to visit. The stained glass is some of the best I've seen. The central spire atop the dome will hopefully be finished soon. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and the queues. Definitely get the tickets that let you go up to the terraces. You can get lift passes if you are unable to use the stairs. Up here you can see the detail of each spire and the statues adorned upon each spire. If you want to attend a service, then these are at 7am.

  I recommend to get there as early as possible, if you do so you will probably avoid a very long wait in the queue. Also i recommend get to the rooftop by the lift. Stairs are very narrow and it's easy to slip. But you will forget all the inconvenience when you finally get to the rooftop. The view is really beautiful, if the sky is clear you can easily see the Alps. The cathedral is beautiful example of the Gothic architecture and it's one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the Europe. I also recommend to get a look inside the cathedral. You won't regret it
