  Have always shopped at Esselunga. You will find absolutely anything you need at reasonable prices (unlike other market chains) and the shopping experience is also pleasant . Theres actually character to this place. In addition, you can get the fidelity card with ease (provided you have an italian tax code) which qualifies you for major discounts on many items. For me Esselunga is #1

  Excellent, located downtown, big free parking, very kind and professional personnel, good variety of quality food, price rather high compared to other food stores. Good choice of organic fruit and vegetables.

  Good price and product variety. Maybe the best grocery store around.

  Very confusional store. More expensive and with a reduced assortment. Not in line within esselunga standards. Very difficult parking. The only point of advantage is the location very close to Porta Venezia.

  **ATTENTION AUSTRALIANS** The cheapest alcohol I have ever come across in Italy. If you have a fridge where you're staying then perfect! Make sure you know/have a way to open corked bottles of wine. Cheapest Gin, vodkas, beer etc. Everything else is great too. My number one shop for Milan groceries.
