::Front door for people is as listed on via Messina, but if you're returning a car, go to the garage on the 'back side' of the same block with the entrance on via Trapani. I believe the signage for the garage has Thifty car rental as the most prominent brand. We ended up circling the block a few times, finally finding a parking space, going in, and then being given this info. Hope putting it here helps someone else avoid the same fun. Other than that our return was smooth - friendly, helpful staff (English speaking), both in the garage and at the desk.

::Remains the best car rental for us. In Palermo, there are many rentals which are not always very reliable (we read in other reviews) but we knew that Hertz is always good. However, important, the insurance is really (really!) expensive. We took an external insurance which is good and cheap. So the combination of the good rental and this insurance company was perfect!
