  Very nice hotel in the heart of the old city. Perfect for leasure trip, just be aware there is not a parking within the hotel.

  Nice location, but the tables are small and the chairs a little bit uncomfortable. The food was good and they have a good choice. Little bit pricy but okay. The service was okay.

  You have to have an eye for contemporary interior design to appreciate Hotel Aquila d’Oro (Golden Eagle). We really enjoyed the diverse design interpretations on each floor and in each room. Most rooms have a “water paradise”. This is an elaborate, multi-headed shower with messaging waterfalls, mists, sprays and comfortable seating. There is the additional feature of colored strobe lights. This was an attraction, in and of itself. The location could not be better. We were close enough to the train station to wheel our luggage to the front door. Everything we wanted to do, we could just walk out the front door and be there in a matter of minutes. You are on the Piazza del Duomo and great restaurants, cafes and shopping. The daily breakfast buffet was delightful.

  Staying at this hotel was such an easy and accommodating experience. The first room I stayed in the air conditioner was squeaky and it was hard to sleep, but when I asked them if they could turn it off for me (it kept turning itself back on and we couldn't figure it out) they moved me and my travel buddy to a different, much nicer room! The breakfast was also a nice touch, and everyone was very sweet.
