  Wow... the owner is unbelievably rude. We stopped in because my girlfriend is always attracted to sale racks. The store was clean, well organized and had some cute clothes. When we walked in we were originally ignored by the lady sitting at the desk. We were the only customers in the store. After about 15 minutes she came over to see what my girlfriend was looking at. She then made some suggestions... showing my girlfriend different options. None were to my girlfriend's taste so she smiled and nodded. I should mention my girlfriend is Chinese and has a very difficult time understanding English spoken with any type of accent (the lady had a thick Italian accent). The lady obviously got frustrated and started speaking in angry Italian under her breath as she stormed off. All I could understand was she was saying something about "Chine," which I assume was "Chinese." Two minutes later she came back and started to lecture us about how she knows fashion, and these are important collections, and that fashion designers seek her out. She knows more about what looks good than we do and how dare we not take her advice. Then she asked where we were from... I said Los Angeles. She then said "that makes sense," in a durrogatory way. She went on to brag about how she owns 5 stores and her stores are not Zara and her clothes are from "important" collections (they were priced between 50-300 euros, obviously not that important). In our defense... her store was not expensive and my girlfriend is not cheap. My girlfriend dresses well (this much older lady was wearing a very unflattering, oversized pant-suit in beige) and knows what she likes. She spent over $7,000 USD on this trip for clothes and accessories. The lady's suggestions were frumpy, dull and not at all anything my girlfriend would be interested in. We politely said thank you, and left. She made it quite cleat thet she doesn't like American's or Chinese. What a terrible experience. Our other experiences in Florence outside of this store were wonderful thankfully.
