  A really sad neglected place. Entrance is free so you won't get angry for wasting a couple of euro's, but maybe you should. The place sorely needs investment. There is a couple of nice old trees, but apart from that and the greenhouses that are off limits there's only misery.

  Beautiful gardens. Out the back is like a wild paradise. So quiet and peaceful and makes a nice break from the bustle outside. Great place for kids to run around, climb hills, hide in trees. Loved it!

  If you come to Bologna, definitely worth a visit local botanical garden of the University of Bologna. This is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Italy. It includes really wonderful exhibits and very cared greenhouses, where for more hot temperatures (particularly welcome during the winter months) are countless succulents and other heat-loving plants. Free entry.
