  Un piccolo museo molto curato e amato. L'unico museo del papiro in cui assaporare l'arte antica della fabbricazione dei rotoli che 2000 anni fa diedero corpo alla più importante biblioteca del mondo antico (Alessandria) e che furono usati dagli egizi fin dall'epoca predinastica (3000 a.C.). Nel museo, inoltre, sono esposti tutti i manufatti in papiro che gli stessi egizi usavano nella vita quotidiana (come barche, ceste e sandali). Da visitare assolutamente

  Really good museum with good exhibition telling the history of papyrus, and modern efforts to reconstruct ancient techniques. Housed in a nice building with actual research ongoing and the pre eminent scholar in the field in the museum.
