  Its old world charm gives it its character. So its not brand new and spotless, thats its beauty. What you get is a clean, friendly hotel, slap bang in the middle of the old sector of Pisa....Recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the town.

  Amazing old hotel not fancy but clean and plenty of character. The staff all really friendly. This is not a clean line modern hotel but if you want character and history this is the place we love it!

  Excellent choice for a stay in Pisa, you you like history this is the place to stay, it's close to everything, it feels like you are staying in a museum, it is a grand hotel, it's great to have a drink in the reception area 👍

  Quaint hotel with decor from another era. Modern enough. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

  In consideration of the economic price in compairson to other hotels in the area the hotel is a good deal. But considering my following review I could only give it 3 stars. Door to room has cracks and large gaps all the way around it so anyone willing can peek in. Very old furniture that is worn - some people have stated in other reviews that they like the old antique furniture, but it's not the age that bothers me, it is also very worn and lower quality "antique" furniture. 1 of 4 beds provided no support (I sunk about 4 inches into the mattress-photo included but I don't think the photo adequately shows the issue) the bed frame/springs need replacement. Had a very poor nights rest and back hurt. Tiny shower (60 cm*60cm) and with a dirty cloth curtain. Shower drains slow or clogged. Tiny TV that is partially visible while laying down because the foot rest blocks view. Cleanliness of bathroom was more questionable than normal especially with the toilet brush container which was full of dirty water. Breakfast was a standard Italian style breakfast. Breakfast tables have table cloths which are not changed out after each table is cleared and flatware is laid directly on the dirty tablecloth -nasty. Great view of the river and close to sites.
