  I didn't go inside, just I pass-through but it is just amazing and gives a such an harmonized landscape with Venice and Murano.

  A somber excursion however, the tranquility should allow you time to reflect on mortality and more.

  A beautiful and tranquil place, if not a little somber. If you're planning a visit though, just remember that it is an active cemetery, and you're sharing the ground with people who are mourning. There are also no photos permitted on the island, so be respectful and leave your camera in it's bag.

  A great place to get away from the crowds and take in the culture of the city. Quite a large and sprawling space, some shaded areas with benches. Many of the grave markers are moving and beautiful works of artworks of art.

  Beautiful, solemn, peaceful. The history in this cemetery is both fascinating and poignant. In addition to the graves of famous names, there are people like you and me, like our grandparents and friends, who are buried here : the history of Venice, of life.
