::My favorite gym in Italy during a 3 month stay. Pros: Lots of equipment, almost heavy dumbbells (I think they went to 42kg), friendly staff, good pricing, and they don't have the silly you can't wear your sneakers into the gym rule that a lot of Italy has. Cons: the only con would be that of any good gym, crowded during peak hours. If the staff is reading this, grazie mille per la tua palestra! Era molto buono! Vorrei tornare li il prossimo tempo saro in Firenze :)

::If you're an American used to a "globo-gym," this is not the place for you. But it's where many American students and locals intermix. Despite the small space, it has everything you need: Dumbbells, Olympic bars, machines, cables, treadmills, ellipticals, and a space for classes. Plus it's less expensive than other palestras nearby.
