::Not as pretty as some photos imply. The beautiful gardens we're surrounded by a gate with no entry. Too big with broken paths (not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs), no place to buy food/drink or go to the bathroom. Too spread out with little attractions for children - not enough shade on paths for children.

::The Villa Doria park has been a highlight of my trip to Rome. Absolutely beautiful area. Seeing so many kids playing footy and dogs running around was a delight. I'd recommend going in the evening time as while there are many areas of shade, it can be hot in June. There are many water fountains and benches, as well as shaded areas in the grass to lie down, so bring a blanket!

::Nice place to get away from it all, the grounds are not well maintained but being on top of a hill and in the shade it is a nice place to cool off. The private house and its gardens are well maintained but we could not find out if it was possible to enter the grounds.

::Beautiful park. Pretty length and hilly trails if you're into that. Pretty busy but beautiful none the less

::I love this park. This isn’t the biggest park in Rome but it is still huge. There is plenty of room to walk around and explore the landscape, the lake with abundant wildlife, and the old buildings and fountains. I would say that this park is beautiful but it’s so much more, that word doesn’t begin to do this park justice. This park is dog friendly and there is even a decent sized playground for kids. I was here for 4+ hours on multiple occasions and I didn’t even cover everything that this beautiful place has to offer!
