The bathrooms were clean. The nicest layout for showers I have seen. Two out of the three nights, however, there was no hot water. The pitches were VERY close together and not level. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the City Centre. We were harassed by the security guard there. They do not understand customer service or hospitality at this establishment.

We stayed on a touring pitch just after Easter, so it was busy, but not packed. For context, the pool and pool bar were closed. In summary, a great site. Fantastic as a base for visiting Rome. We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Just some detail to flesh out the summary: Showers and washing up facilities excellent. Really clean, heated (showers and toilets) and loads of space. Nominated for Best Campsite Shower Block Music, 2018. Rossini first thing was a treat, closely followed by Paganini for an evening ablution ;) Classy, so much better than Europop. The site is big, but fairly linear, so it's a long walk end to end. There is a shuttle bus (golf cart) that runs throughout the day to save the legs. Reception friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. As is the info point, which also sells tourist attraction tickets and public transport tickets, so couldn't be easier to get your way into town. The on-site shop is basic, but there's a 24hr Carrefour across the road from reception. Things to be aware of: Google Maps directed us down a closed road just a few yards from the entrance. We had a massive, complex detour to avoid that route, so check on Street View to see how to access the main gate, don't rely on GPS as we did. Pitches are on the small side. When busy, it will be very, very cosy, and if you are touring you may not even have space to put a table up on pitch. We had use of a vacant adjacent one for this. In summer, I think it could be too cosy for some. The walk to Due Ponti station involves crossing some major roads, and there are limited footpaths in some places, so be wary of taking a push chair / wheelchair. None of these points were deal breakers, but would have helped us know more about them in advance.

Stayed for two nights in a "bungalow." Not an enjoyable experience at all. The bathroom stunk out the whole place with the smelly drains. The shower and toilet dripped constantly all night. Public transport into Rome is very convenient but you have to risk your life on the exceptionally busy and chaotic roads next to the park to get to the station in the first place. Our departure flight out of Rome was at 6.30 am. We had to move our car the night before from outside the bungalow to outside the the reception area necessitating a ten minute walk at 3.30 with our young sleepy children. It wouldn't be so bad if the rates were cheap but this isn't the case! Very disappointed!!

For tents it is too far from toilets. So I changed my place and settled down w/caravans. Generally clean but not make you feel like home. Bathrooms are fair but most of the hangers inside are broken. Hot water becomes warm water at noon. Facilities are needed to be renovated. Laundry facilities are very good though. You can reach Roma easily. Either use bus in front of the gate or go to train with a 7 min walk. But first you need to pass 500m long inside-village-road to reach gate. Thanks god we had our bicycles. At the end if you are coming for Roma it is the closest. If you dont go Roma daily try the other ones.
