  Dear tourist, when you buy a wine bottle at the supermarket and you drink walking around Venice you don't look like an italian (we don't do that... we drink at the bar) but you look like a stupid. We know it's a "woow! in my country I can't!" but this's only an advice, drink wine at the bar and not "take away". #letsguide

  Bought an item that was not priced. Realising it was a bit too expensive, I requested a return even before leaving the checkout. I was refused.

  As far as I can tell, this is the largest supermarket on the island of Venice. If you are staying in a place with a kitchen, it is absolutely worth it to visit - selection and prices are much better than the 2 small supermarkets (one of them is a Coop) by the Rialto bridge. If your back is to the water, the entrance is on your left. You go in and slowly make your way towards the right, until the last section, which contains checkout. Self-check towards left, manned stations towards right. Don't forget to weigh your produce before getting to checkout (it's 2 doorways/rooms from the produce to checkout). Bring bags or buy there, and self-bag. By the way, guy behind the deli counter yelled "no photos" when I snapped a picture of the deli (I was snapping the food, not him!). Both times, the younger man and older blonde lady at checkout were cordial (I wouldn't call it friendly, but definitely cordial and not curt).

  Weird layout, but they have a reasonable range of products and friendly staff.
